About Dr. Suzanne Mone

PEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGY

Dr. Suzanne Mone is a board certified pediatric cardiologist. Dr. Mone completed her pediatric residency at the Golisano Children’s Hospital/University of Rochester, Rochester, NY and pediatric cardiology fellowship at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Ohio and the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital/Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA.

During her career, Dr. Mone has participated in multiple research projects which have been put her at the forefront of change and technology in pediatric cardiology. She has also had varied and incredible clinical experiences including international pediatric cardiology work in Ghana.

Dr. Mone has long been recognized as a top pediatric cardiologist. She has won multiple awards for her clinical expertise including a New Jersey Doc and a New Jersey Family’s Favorite Kids’ Doc.

Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Mone worked as a pediatric cardiac sonographer and exercise physiologist. These experiences impart her work today with valuable expertise and perspective. Her special interests include transthoracic and fetal echocardiography.

Dr. Suzanne Mone has passion for taking care of children with congenital and acquired heart disease. She provides excellent care from diagnosis onward including clinical management and support and referrals to cardiac surgeons when needed. Dr. Mone prides herself on being thorough in diagnosis and follow-up including attention to every detail. She emphasizes personalized patient care and recognizes the need for families to thoroughly understand a diagnosis. Dr. Mone is able to provide both technical knowledge as well as a supportive and caring bedside manner. Her patients appreciate her ability to understand them and value them as whole person.
